To type special characters: Click the little keyboard. Click the Alt key, so that it glows dark blue. Minimize or move the little keyboard away. Now when you type in the space, if you hit Ctrl and the vowel or n, the accent or wiggle will appear. If it stops working, check the little keyboard again and make sure the Alt is dark blue. If not, click it again until it is.
